Dr. Crosby joined the teacher education faculty in 2009. She earned a B.A in English from Lyon (then Arkansas College), a M.Ed. in Secondary Education from Harding University, and an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership from Arkansas State University. A native of Batesville, she has spent more than twenty years working in education in this area. Prior to taking on her current role in teacher education, she taught English, Spanish, and oral communications at the secondary level for seven years, followed by ten years with Lyon's APPLE Project Upward Bound program where she served as the Academic Coordinator for one year and as the Project Director for nine years.

Dr. Yonts, Assistant Professor of Education and Psychology, earned her B.A. from Washington State University and her M.S. and Ph.D. from Oklahoma State University. Her areas of research include development, learning in young children, and media effects. Her current projects include investigating problematic videogame playing in adolescents and adults; and an investigation of the effects of learning styles on academic performance in children and adults.
